Tutorial - Lara's Home
While going through the assault course, make sure to use the zipline to work on Flying Fox.
Welcome to My Humble Abode!
Appreciate Lara's artifact collection
We need to find the hidden room in Croft
Manor. Starting from the main hall we head through the archway on the
right into the gym. From there, go through the door on the right to enter the pool area. At the back of the
diving board, press the button to open a secret door back in the main hall.
Now quickly return to the main hall and go through the newly opened door to the right of the main entrance.
Inside, pull the timed switch, immediately turn around and sprint through the door directly opposite.
The trophy unlocks as soon as we get inside the hidden room.
Train Hard, Fight Easy
Finish the assault course in 2:20 or less
Before attempting this, go to the crawl space and collect the pistols. Having them already
in our inventory saves precious time. But this trophy may take a couple of tries regardless. You'll know or can
adapt most parts of the course from Tomb Raider II. The main difference is the final part, where we have to
shoot some targets. You'll find 7 sets of 3 bullseye targets. We need to shoot all of them down completely,
otherwise we get a huge time penalty that pushes us out of range for 2:20.
At the Speed of a Meteor
Complete a quad bike race in less than 39 seconds
Before being able to race we need to find the key to enter the track. The easiest way is a
cheat that doesn't void the trophy.

in quick
succession to get the key in your inventory.
For the race we need to use the shortcut found in the indoor section of the
track. It’s a steep, narrow slope along the left wall, right after we clear the two ramps.
For the final ramp, make sure to hit it from a right-side angle, aiming slightly left. We want to
be positioned close to the wall and carry enough momentum to climb the slope successfully. If we take the ramp
from too far left, we risk losing speed and getting stuck, which tends to happen often.
Level 1 - Jungle
For our first playthrough, it's recommended to focus on the following tasks to save yourself from another
playthrough:
- Collect all 60 secrets to enter the bonus level All Hallows.
- Collect 93 Crystals (Crystals Are Forever).
- Use all 6 Ziplines (Flying Fox).
- Collect all Weapons after High Security Compound (Largest Assortment).
- Use only Pistols (Incredibly Hard Boiled).
- You DON'T need to collect every pick-up. There is no trophy for it.
The first level of the main game contains 6 secrets, 6 crystals and 2 zip lines which are all related to
different trophies. In addition to that there are 33 pick-ups for those who are interested in collecting all of
them as well.
We're only getting one trophy here, but we already have to work towards Aichmophobia by not taking any
damage from spikes.
Evolutionary Superiority
Pick up medipack before monkey grabs it
The first one is impossible to get but the second one is really easy to get to before
the monkey. Shortly after using the first zipline we come to place with a tiger we need to fend off. A little
further down this path is a small medipack lying on a greenish block. Collect this quickly to unlock the
trophy. Just don't shoot any of the monkeys, because this will void the trophy according to several
reports.
Level 2 - Temple Ruins
The nice little monkeys are now hostile and will attack.
In addition to that there are some poisonous cobras. Make sure to not take any damage from them to work towards
Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. In terms of collectibles we have to get 4 secrets & 8 crystals (should be 14 total in
our
inventory after the level). The rest of the 43 pick-ups are optional for those who want to collect them as well.
Her Airness
Get to the treetops without going down the hatch or into the water
It's not necessary to do it now, because
we will go this way during the speedrun anyway. However only earned trophies are good trophies, so here's the
way:
- From the starting area, run toward the large tree trunk slightly to the right.
- Step onto the middle, non-slippery section of the trunk and angle left.
- Perform a jump forward and grab the ledge.
- Sidestep left to improve your position, then climb up.
- Immediately jump straight up and grab the lip of the treetop above.
- Climb onto the treetop.
Aichmophobia
Do not take damage from the spiked walls and ceilings in India
This includes every trap in this level including blades, but there are four major traps
that might need some extra attention. All of those are highlighted in the video description for this level so
that you can find them quickly. Getting hit by blade traps also voids the trophy.
Level 3 - The River Ganges
The third level of India is also the last one with secrets to collect. Therefore we can earn up to two trophies
here. Just like in "Temple Ruins" there are some poisonous cobras. Make sure to not take any damage from them to
keep working towards Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. The number of crystals can vary, depending on the way you choose.
The
maximum is 7 (should be 21 total in our inventory after the level) as you will see in my video. In addtion to
that we have to collect 5 secrets for Codex of India. The rest of the 32 pick-ups is optional for those
who want to collect them as well.
Codex of India
Collect all secrets in India levels
In India we have to pick up 15 different secrets, they are distributed as follows:
- Jungle - 6
- Temple Ruins - 4
- River Ganges - 5
- Caves of Kaliya - 0
Monkey Temple
Choose the right road, but don't hit the monkeys with your quad bike
- After opening the gate in the cave, take the right fork (the path leading straight toward the nearby
Crystal).
- From this point onward, avoid running over any monkeys.
- If needed, exit the vehicle and eliminate monkeys from a distance, it's much safer than risking contact
with the
quad bike.
- Level skips highly likely prevent unlocking the trophy.
- The trophy unlocks on the level’s end screen, provided no monkey got hit with the quad.
Level 4 - Caves of Kaliya
The final level of India offers 3 different trophies, but because we want to unlock Incredibly Hard
Boiled at
the end of our first playthrough, we need to make a save before finishing this level, so we can reload to
go for Crushin' Krishna as well. After that we're going to Nevada, because it makes the most
sense, so make sure to pick Nevada once you are able select your next destination.
In terms of pick-ups there isn't much to do here. Just 2 crystals (23 in total after the level). Once again make
sure to not take any damage from the cobras we need for Snake Charming to keep working towards
Rikki-Tikki-Tavi which we will finally unlock in the next level. There are no secrets and just 10
optional pick-ups for
those who want to collect all of them as well.
Snake Charming
Find all cobras in the Caves of Kaliya level
Apparently "find" is a synonym for "kill", which means we have to eliminate all 14
cobras in this level. The first one is on the first level (the one where we start the level). Cobra #2 & #3
are waiting for us one level below, after sliding down a small ramp. The fourth is even further down and
appears shortly after dropping down to this lower level.
#5-#14 are all waiting in the same room.
Reach the
hole at the end of the passage, marked by a floating Crystal and a nearby pickup. Save your progress here.
Below, are the remaining 10 cobras: two groups of four facing each other, plus two more at the far end.
Be aware, this area is very dark, contains a boulder trap, and the fall can
be deadly.
Infada Stone
Finish India chapter
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after finishing Caves of Kaliya.
Crushin' Krishna
Defeat Tony using grenade launcher (on New Game)
The grenade launcher is on the platform on the opposite side of where we enter the room
to this bossfight.
Shooting Tony with it is a lot easier while standing on the same platform he does.
Level 5 - Nevada Desert
Welcome to Nevada, a chapter with only 3 levels to fight through. The first one, Nevada Desert has 3 trophies
in stock for us. To make things significantly easier it's recommended to take a shortcut to finish the level
which we will use
again during the speedrun. It's time to finally get Rikki-Tikki-Tavi after working on it since "Temple
Ruins".
As for collectibles, we have to collect 3 secrets and 3 crystals (26 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 28 items.
Amphibian Woman
Get into the water lock control room by opening all the levers in one breath
This shouldn't be too challenging if you just go for the switches and ignore the Desert
Eagle Ammo. We encounter this trophy shortly after meeting the first dam worker, the one we must avoid killing
to
stay on track for Lost Souls Are Forgiven. After climbing the ladder at the back of the machine and
turning
right, we have to deal with a group of vultures.
You can make a manual save here if you like. In the water below, we find four levers. All of them must be
pulled in a single dive to unlock access to the
water lock control room. For the trophy to register, we cannot resurface until all levers are activated. If
you run out of air and start losing health you can use medipacks. If you use to many of them, you can reload
your last save.
Rikki-Tikki-Tavi
Don't get bitten by snakes
This trophy covers the all levels from Temple Ruins to Nevada Desert. To unlock it, we
must complete these levels without ever being bitten by a snake. It is best to save
regularly and keep a close watch on our health to avoid surprises. They usually poison us. Due to this you can
easily see if you got bitten or not, because poison is displayed by a yello blinking health bar.
Snakes appear in several variations, such as the cobra in India. They usually lie coiled and
inactive until we move close, at which point they rise and begin striking forward while rotating to face us.
Their movement range is otherwise limited, which makes them fairly predictable to handle. A few pistol shots
are enough to deal with them, though in many cases we can simply avoid them unless we are deliberately
searching for collectibles. The rattlesnakes in Nevada behave similar but are a lot smaller.
Lost Souls Are Forgiven
Kill no dam workers
Throughout the Nevada Desert level, our objective is to avoid killing any of the dam
workers. The trophy is only awarded once the level finishes, which means it can easily be missed.
The workers are the only human adversaries present. They are wearing biker-style
clothing, and are positioned sparsely across the map. Their attacks are limited to punches, so they pose
little danger but can still interrupt
our path or block jumps. Importantly, they cannot climb ladders or handle long-distance jumps, which makes
avoiding them pretty manageable.
For the final section with the quad bike, just use the fence trick shortcut, you can see in my video. That you
miss some pick-ups, however they take everything away from us anyway in the next level.
Level 6 - High Security Compound
In the second level of Nevada Lara wakes up in a cell with nothing but her artifact and one small medipack.
Collecting everything will collide with "The Quick and the Dead" which we have to work towards during the
final part. If we keep the guard away from the handprint scanner, one large medipack will be unavailable
for us. However make sure to collect Crystal #3.
If you're just interested in trophies and don't want to collect all items make sure to stop the guard with your
pistols. As for collectibles, we have to collect 2 secrets and 3 crystals (29 in total after the level) and
there are up to 34 items.
I'm Not Very Sociable
Eliminate the MP guard before he lets backup in
- After collecting our gear, we need to head back but stop before the new lasers blocking the door.
- Keep the turret intact for Limbo Master later.
- Proceed over the lasers and climb back over the boxes.
- The trophy is doable with the pistols, but to make your life easier, save and equip the Desert Eagle.
- Run up the ramp on the right, conserving sprint energy. Eliminate the guard escaping ahead. If you're
trying to do it with pistols, ignore the first guard.
- Immediately sprint up the next ramp and quickly take down the following guard.
In case you used the Desert Eagle, reload your save and clear the area with your pistols to stay eligible for
Incredibly Hard Boiled.
Resourceful Attorney
Keep all the prisoners alive
This is similar to the monks trophy in TR2, but much easier, because only a small amount
of
soldiers is armed. It spans the entire High Security Compound. Along the way, we have the option to release
fellow prisoners. As long as we do not harm them, they
act as allies and can help neutralize guards when we have no weapons available. All of them must survive.
Most of the time, this is manageable. Unarmed guards with bats are typically outnumbered and overpowered by
the prisoners, so their survival is rarely in doubt. Still, it is important to supervise each fight and
confirm everyone remains alive, because sometimes they aren't acting smart at all. I once watched 3 prisoners
lose against a single guard, because the struggled with some stairs. Once a confrontation is over, we can
safely advance, as they are unlikely to encounter further danger.
Level 7 - Area 51
The final level of Nevada allows us to get up to 6 trophies. But it doesn't allow us to
collect everything while we are on our Incredibly Hard Boiled playthrough. Same goes for the trophy
The Quick
and the Dead which is also not doable with pistols-only, so make sure you don't overwrite your save where
you
stopped the MP guard in time for I'm Not Very Sociable, because he is the first opponent that counts
towards this trophy.
As for collectibles, we have to collect 3 secrets and 4 crystals (33 in total after the level) and the level
contains a total of 36 items.
I Want to Believe
Do a handstand on a watch tower
Towards the end of the level we leave the building and can immediately spot the
watchtower
straight ahead, which is easy to recognize after spending almost the whole stage indoors. One guard with a
firearm waits at the top, while another carrying a bat patrols the ground. We should eliminate both before
moving closer to the tower.
Once the area is secure, we climb the structure until we reach the ledge. Now hold the walk button while
pulling up. This
makes Lara perform a handstand at the top, and the trophy unlocks as soon as she completes the
move.
Codex of Nevada
Collect all secrets in Nevada levels
Nevada has a total of 8 secrets for us to collect. They are distributed as follows:
- Nevada Desert - 3
- High Security Compund - 2
- Area 51 - 3
Free Willy
Swim with orcas
After getting the Code Clearance Disk which is located near the watchtower for I Want
To Believe, we can use it near the UFO to open a vent on the upper level from where we can enter the
orca tank. To reach this vent, climb the ladder in the main room and backflip at the top to land on the
platform behind us. From there, make a series of clockwise running jumps across the sloped platforms until
we stand at the opposite corner from where we started.
Next, we jump carefully down to the vent below and move forward through two sets of lasers. This leads into
the orca tank, where we drop into the water. Try to swim close to both orcas to make them swim alongside Lara.
While we are here, we should also collect the Crystal in the
water before leaving the area.
Element 115
Finish Nevada chapter
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after completing Area 51.
Limbo Master
Don't let the turret lasers lock on to you, but don't turn them off either
To unlock this trophy, we must complete High Security Compound and Area 51 without ever
activating a
turret or destroying one. The wording “don’t turn them off” refers to refraining from shooting them.
Turrets are relatively scarce, and most can be bypassed with the same method: carefully sideflipping across
their laser fields. The first turret we can bypass entirely by using the crawlspace in the corridor just
before, which
provides a safer route. The trophy unlocks on the end screen.
The Quick and the Dead
Do not allow guards to touch the handprint scanners
This is impossible during our pistols-only run, so create an additional save for this.
For this trophy, we must prevent every guard in Area 51 (+ the one from I'm Not Very Sociable) from
using a wall panel. These panels can be
recognized up close by the small handprint icon.
Early in Area 51 we face the first example of this. After passing a moving laser and crawling through a
tunnel, a guard spawns and runs directly toward the hand scanner in the corridor ahead. By the time we exit
the crawlspace, it is usually too late to stop him with pistols alone. If he succeeds, the laser gate behind
him activates and the trophy voids.
The most reliable strategy is to make a dedicated speedrun, using a powerful weapon such as the Desert Eagle.
With only a couple of shots per guard, we can clear them before they reach the panels. Once all guards are
eliminated successfully, the trophy unlocks upon killing the final one.
Level 8 - Coastal Village
At the start of the South Pacific chapter we can get 2 silver trophies. However, they
are mutually exclusive. We'll go for the Smuggler's Key first, because it allows to collect all crystals,
secrets and pickups. After finishing the level we'll reload the first save and quickly grab the other trophy.
We also have to work on Like a Naive Child and let Lara die in two different death traps. This level
contains
2 of 3 total death traps for this trophy. The other one will be in the Antarctica chapter.
As for collectibles, we need to collect 4 secrets and 5 crystals (38 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 29 items.
In the Forefront
Break into the cannibal village using Smuggler's key, not Serpent Stones
The Smuggler's key can be found underwater right at the start of the level. Use it to
enter the village to pop this trophy.
From the Flanks
Get to the cannibal village without the Smuggler's key, but with the Serpent Stones
Do not pick up the key at the very start!
Just collecting it will void this trophy. Instead, we need to turn right at the hut and take
the waterfall route. Two serpent stones are easy to find and clearly visible. The other one is concealed
behind a waterfall. After picking up the first stone, we have to jump onto either of the green platforms, then
aim for the center of the water below,
which places us on a platform beneath the waterfall. From there, by angling slightly left or right, we can
leap into the alcove hidden within the waterfall.
Level 9 - Crash Site
Crash Site is the second level of the South Pacific chapter and offers 5 new trophies for us. But two of them
can be pretty annoying, so I'd recommend to save the game often in case something goes wrong while saving the
soldiers.
As for collectibles, we have to collect 3 secrets and 4 crystals (42 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 22/26 items, because every soldier we need to save carries a piece of MP5 Ammo. If you want all 26
pick-ups, make sure to get all trophies first and reload your latest save to get the ammo off of the soldiers.
But keep in mind, collecting everything isn't necessary.
After finishing we have to reload our last save to get the final crystal.
Frog Jumps
Cross the swamp in less than 20 seconds
At the beginning of the level, we can open the Swamp Map in the inventory to see the
ideal
path across the swamp beneath the treehouse. To earn the trophy, we must reach the grass on the far side in
under 20 seconds, which demands careful and accurate movement. The correct route is almost a zig-zag pattern
across the lilypads. If you miss a lilypad or reach the other side a bit too slow, just reload the game and
try again. Some people reported, that the trophy unlocked after walking downhill a little further. If it
doesn't unlock when you reach the first raptor, it's highly likely that you've been not quick enough.
Fire Support
Let the surviving soldier finish off the T-Rex
This trophy starts after collecting Commander Bishop's Key from the soldier’s body in
the empty nest on the right
side of the cave we can enter after saving the first soldier. Picking it up triggers the appearance of a T-Rex
rounding the corner, so we quickly head to the
alcove near the burning torch where we first slid into the area.
Inside this alcove, hit the switch, then turn to face the T-Rex, using cover and shooting whenever it's
safe. Pistols are effective, but care is required because the alcove is not entirely safe if the T-Rex gets
too close. Once the T-Rex's health bar is empty (it can take 3 more bullets from Lara's pistols at this
point), save the game and dash to the opposite wall. On the left,
there's a second alcove beside a burning torch and another switch. We pull it to open a nearby gate, which
creates a return path to the soldier’s area.
At the same moment, a raptor spawns near the soldier. So rush back via the new path to help him fend off the
raptor, taking care not to hit the soldier by accident. If things go wrong, reload the earlier save and try
again. Once that raptor is taken care of, the soldier can enter the lower area to unlock the trophy for us.
It's Not Much, but It's Nice
Get your prize in the cave with deadly funnel
Begin by climbing atop the crashed plane and make your way toward its
rear-left corner. From there, step carefully onto the adjacent tree branch. Ahead, a subtle cave entrance
becomes visible. Jump there, grab the ledge and
pull yourself inside. Once inside the cave, look downward and to the right to find a stash of Uzi clips.
Picking them up unlocks the trophy immediately.
Fossil Trap
Manage to lure the velociraptor into a deep hole
During the final assault, we need to jump onto the plane wing and then back and forth
repeatedly.
Doing so eventually lures the raptors towards us and lead them into the abyss where they
can be trapped or eliminated.
Wilderness Instructor
Help all the soldiers survive the trouble
One of the worst trophies of the entire game, because it requires some luck. Sometimes the
AI of
the soldiers isn't really helpful and they can die while they are out of your sight. For the final encounter,
increase your
chances by sparing the raptors on the branches (in the area before entering the plane) to keep the three
soldiers in that area. Blow a hole into
the wall at the end and run immediately for the finish. It might take a few tries, but it works and is much
easier than staying around and trying to take out all 30 raptors. It's much easier with stronger weapons but
also doable during the pistols-only run.
If that strategy doesn't work, you can try to take out the three soldiers in question with the cannon of the
plane. Some players reported that this unlocks the trophy as well. But it's likely getting patched in the near
future.
Level 10 - Madubu Gorge
Madubu Gorge is the third level of the South Pacific chapter and offers 2 mutually exclusive trophies for us.
Additionally, it includes a kayak whose controls are crazy at times. Hopefully it doesn't bother you too much.
As for collectibles, we have to collect 3 secrets and 8 crystals (50 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 12 optional items. Crystal #8 will only be available if you steer your kayak through the green
trip in the early portion of the cave. Aside from that there is an unmissable zip line we need for Flying
Fox.
Captive to Curiosity
Finish Madubu Gorge using the kayak guarded by crocodiles
This kayak is located i a room with 2 crocodiles shortly after collecting secret #2. On
your playthorugh with all secrets and crystals, you'll get there naturally. Use this kayak to play through the
level. When you drop into the final room, the trophy should pop.
Deliverance
Finish Madubu Gorge using the kayak behind the hatch
At the start of the level, to the left, there is a building with a closed hatch inside
on the left when we enter. The kayak we need to finish the level with is located below this hatch. To open the
hatch, first climb down near the river and head right past the bridge. On the last block along
this path, you will find a switch that opens the hatch. Take the kayak and finish the level.
This is also the recommended way for the speedrun,
which means you don't have to deal with it now if you don't want to get all possible trophies out of the way
before the speedrun.
Level 11 - Temple of Puna
This is the final level of the South Pacific chapter and it awards us with up to 4 trophies. All in pretty
quick succession, because this is a very short level, like all boss levels in this game. When you fight the boss
with your pistols make sure to defeat the oras while facing him to avoid his lightning strikes.
In terms of collectibles, we have to collect 1 secret and 2 crystals (52 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 10 items.
No Time to Rollerblade
Pass through ramp with rolling blades in 40 seconds or less
To make your life easier with this, disable "Walk to Action". This saves precious time
while pressing all of the switches.
- We wait until the trap rolls back towards us from the right side, then immediately slide down, sprint
straight to the nearest button on our right and press it.
- Right after pressing the button, sidestep twice to the left, aiming to stand as close as
possible facing the line between the face of the trap and the wall.
- When the trap reaches us, turn quickly to the adjacent button and run to it without
sprinting to avoid overshooting.
- Press the button, roll to prepare, and get ready to perform a running jump over the trap, often
without full visibility of what lies ahead.
- After clearing the trap with our jump, sprint to the button directly across from us, aiming carefully
to hit it dead center and press it.
- Immediately sidestep left twice again to reach safety, and when the trap approaches once more, we
turn and run to the next adjacent switch and activate it.
- The final step is to roll around and prepare to jump over the trap one last time on our way to
the exit door located to the left.
Codex of Polynesia
Collect all secrets in South Pacific levels
South Pacific has a total of 11 secrets for us to collect. They are distributed as
follows:
- Coastal Village - 4
- Crash Site - 3
- Madubu Gorge - 3
- Temple of Puna - 1
Faceless Death
Defeat Puna without killing any oras
This is impossible with pistols. The Desert Eagle or Rocket Launcher can deal with him
fast enough
though. Don't forget to reload afterwards if you're on a pistols-only run.
Ora Dagger
Finish South Pacific chapter
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after completing Temple of Puna.
Level 12 - Thames Wharf
Welcome to London, our final trip before going to Antarctica. We'll start with Thames Wharf, a rather long
level with only one trophy, we would get during the speedrun anyways. Regardless, I put it here in case you want
to get it right away.
In terms of collectibles, we have to collect 5 secrets and 8 crystals (60 in total after the level) and we can
optionally collect up to 32 items. Aside from that there is an unmissable zip line we need for Flying
Fox, the last one
before All Hallows.
I'm Just a Local
Finish Thames Wharf level in less than 1 minute
- Start by running and jumping to the right, vaulting over the roof.
- The moment we clear the roof, steer left to reach the higher floor behind it.
- Keep running forward and jump onto the crane ahead.
- After landing on the crane, step backward toward its opposite side, then take one step forward.
- Sprint and leap over the right side of the yellow section, landing on the slippery floor below.
- We aim for the farthest square on the floor to avoid the previous spot, which has a deadly drop with
barbed wire.
- Immediately upon landing, use a large medikit.
- Then jump out of the barbed wire zone, move up along the roof, and head left toward the level's exit.
- Make sure to skip the cutscene because the counter keeps running.
Level 13 - Aldwych
Aldwych is the second level of London and it is a pretty long one with a lot of repetitive routes if you're
collecting everything. Just like Thames Wharf it has only one trophy for us to unlock.
In terms of collectibles, we have to collect 5 secrets and 9 crystals (69 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 50 items. More often than not, the first small medipack gets dropped in one of the lamps or
pillars.
Photo Finish
Run into the maintenance room before the Damned does
We start by climbing out of the water where we slid down at the beginning. Run
up the stairs, taking down an enemy positioned in the ticket room at the top. On the right side of the room,
choose either the first or second door to descend another set of stairs. Proceed left onto the platform area,
staying alert for another enemy attacking from the rightas well as two
rats on the tracks nearby.
With all enemies cleared, create a save and jump down onto the tracks and continue running into the tunnel
ahead. Soon we'll come across a guy that's
pretty fast. Luckily he isn't immune to any kind of explosives, so use your rocket or grenade launcher to slow
him down significantly and run through the door on the right. If you're on a pistols-only playthrough, make
sure to reload after earning the trophy.
Level 14 - Lud's Gate
Lud's Gate is the third level of London and it is even longer than the previous two. We can earn two different
trophies here and start working towards Rocket Science for which we have to pick up two hidden rockets.
One
here and one in Antarctica. To get that rocket and all secrets in the same playthrough you have to use the
infamous corner bug.
In terms of collectibles, we have to pick up 6 secrets and 11 crystals (80 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 59 items.
To get all 59 you have to use another glitch called
"Flying UPV Glitch". For those of you interested in that, check out the final timestamp of my video and if you
want to
collect everything in order, it's the UPV from Secret #6. To initiate it, drive towards the wall as shown, hold
jump and then use roll and once again jump in quick succession. If your oxygen bar stands still, you're good to
go. To get back on it (the toughest part) after collecting the rocket, park it as close to the ground as
possible and keep running against it. Once you're back down in the channel you have to perform the starting
sequence again to get back to the start.
The Silent World
Use UPV harpoons to defeat the scuba divers
Simply use the vehicle harpoons to kill all the scuba divers in Lud’s Gate instead of
your handheld harpoon gun. This method is confirmed not to void the pistols-only trophy.
Underwater Garage
Find and use all UPVs
Here's a concise summary of the UPV (Underwater Propulsion Vehicle) locations:
- UPV #1 is found after placing the Embalming Fluid and going through the door in the same room, where you
fall
down a high shaft into a large underwater area. Do not swim out of this room before entering the vehicle,
as
currents prevent us from returning.
- UPV #2 is located as part of Secret #6, behind some white underwater doors shortly after the first UPV
room. This
area
requires sneaking past guards and is known to have some bugs so save in advance.
- UPV #3 is beyond the large underwater section with diamond-shaped hallways, next to the room with an air
pocket and the
dead scuba diver. Access requires activating switches in an adjacent room with burners and crushers. But
beware, after
activating these, the air pocket room will be concealed.
Level 15 - City
City is the boss level of the London chapter. It's very short and if you've got some medipacks to spare,
ridiculously easy. There is no real fight, but if you want to collect everything and don't have too many
medipacks, defeat Sophia first and backtrack. At least to grab the secret.
There is only 1 secret, no crystals and just 7 items in total.
Codex of England
Collect all secrets in London levels
London has a total of 17 secrets for us to collect. They are distributed as
follows:
- Thames Wharf - 5
- Aldwych - 5
- Lud's Gate - 6
- City - 1
The Eye of Isis
Finish London chapter
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after completing City.
Level 16 - Antarctica
Welcome to the final chapter "Antarctica" and its first level which has the same name. We can once again earn
two different trophies.
In terms of collectibles, we have to collect 3 secrets and 4 crystals (84 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 34 items.
Rocket Science
Find two hidden rockets
Rocket #1 is located in Lud's Gate: After crawling into the room with a guard, monkey-climb along the ceiling in
the
opening beyond, where a Crystal awaits at the far end. Partway through, the camera shifts perspective,
signaling us to drop down onto the head of a sphinx below. From there, we can spot the first Rocket on a
platform beneath us. To reach it safely, dangle from the
platform’s edge and drop down. Descending involves moving to the platform’s right side, facing the Crystal in
the corner, aligning diagonally with it, then executing a backflip to slide down the side. This Rocket is
mutually exclusive with one of the secrets. If you want both of them, collect the secret first and use the
Corner Bug to get the rocket.
Rocket #2 can be found in Antarctica: After releasing the lifeboat, we need to return to the previous room to
climb to a higher level.
Exit outside to a deck, then leap over the curved platform ahead. While sliding, jump towards the icy
ledge, from which we ascend to an opening on the upper left. The trophy should pop as soon as you pick up the
Rocket in there.
Brundlefly
Find the mutated scientist in the destroyed station
Our task is to find a creepy scientist in one of the stations. After
grabbing the crowbar in the building with slamming doors, we drop down through the hole
near the pipes. From there, climb past the valves, remembering that the correct valve sequence is the second and
fourth
ones. Once out of the valve area, we reach the station with the scientist located in the bottom-left corner of
the large back room.
To earn the trophy, we simply have to approach the scientist. He will activate and start buzzing around, capable
of
poisoning us, so quickly jump back for safety. Eventually, he will drop dead, completing the
encounter.
Level 17 - RX-Tech Mines
The second level of "Antarctica" offers two different trophies again. But don't worry we'll earn a lot more in
the next level. Both trophies are related to the mutants we have to face. In terms of collectibles, we have to
collect 3 secrets and 5 crystals (89 in total after the level) and we can
collect up to 26 items.
Who Goes There?
Make flamethrower guards meet seven mutants in one walkthrough
Exactly 7 of the 21 mutants can be fought by flamethrower guards. You don't need to care
about the first three, they are almost automatically taken care of by the guards. The important one is #4,
don't shoot it, instead draw it towards the guard in the following area. After shimmying left and right along
the wall cracks down the wall, we encounter four mutants in total. One mutant is waiting inside the first
wall crack, and another is at the very bottom. These two we can safely defeat ourselves.
To progress, we enter the last wall crack by crawling in. It’s wise to save as soon as we enter this
crawlspace, since there’s a risk the guard might get killed here and make the trophy unattainable.
After saving, crawl forward and a mutant spawns ahead. This one we must not attack. Instead, we quickly run
past it and follow the corridor into a larger room containing a water pool. In this area patrols our
Flamethrower Guard. Besides the mutant chasing from behind, there are three more mutants here, though two of
them only appear once we venture further into the room. So it's best to wait for him to take care of the
visible ones first.
Pest Control
Solve that mutant problem in RX-Tech Mines
All 21 mutants in this level need to be defeated. It doesn't matter who takes care of
them as long as they are taken down. Which means we can combine it perfectly with "Who Goes There?" and it is
perfectly possible on a pistols-only playthrough. Most of them are positioned along our normal route through
the level. If you go for all collectibles you shouldn't miss a single one.
Level 18 - Lost City of Tinnos
Lost City of Tinnos is the penultimate level of the main game (excluding All Hallows). In terms of length and
difficulty it is comparable to Atlantis in TR1 or Temple of Xian in TR2. But in return we can earn 8 different
trophies here, so that is a nice payoff.
Regarding collectibles, we need to collect the final 3 secrets and 5 crystals of the main game (94 in total
after the level) and we can collect up to 33 items.
Gone With the Wind
Get every collectable item in the air room
In the building with the prominent light beam, we find the “air” room by heading into the
left-hand chamber. This area is a dark labyrinth filled with winding paths, where our goal is to locate and
collect all six items required for the trophy. Luckily, the only opponent we
encounter here is a lone wasp, making the search for collectibles less hazardous.
The Deep
Get medipack in the water room
The water room is on the opposite side of the air room. Here, we drop down past the first
set of blades, making sure to save before attempting the descent. The safest moment to jump is immediately after
the blade passes by our position.
Upon landing in the water, remain alert for another set of blades, then climb onto the middle ledge to reach
safety. Next, enter the crawlspace to our left and follow the tunnel downward, leading to the Medipack.
Like a Naive Child
How could you fall into such a simple trap?
This only unlocks here if you "fell" for the two traps in Coastal Village. Here are the
three traps we need to let Lara die in:
- In Coastal Village, we discover several huts containing collectible items. One notable hut has a large
medikit at the back, but its quicksand floor kills us instantly.
- In the village’s second area, after reaching the rooftops and navigating a tunnel with rolling wall traps,
we find two button switches nearby; activating one of these ignites the floor and results in death.
- In Lost City of Tinnos, entering the Fire trial, we cross safe blocks to reach the other side, avoiding
those that ignite. Beyond, we see a trap door leading to the next trial. By jumping over this door, we can
spot
a large medikit on the floor. Picking it up immediately triggers a rolling spike trap, killing us.
Unconditional Sense of Rhythm
Obtain Oceanic Mask in the fire room without using a lever
We need to position ourselves close to the left corner of the ledge, facing the room. When
the
statues start to breathe, platforms illuminate, allowing us to check our alignment. Once the nearest statue has
been breathing for a second, perform a running jump onto the first platform,
immediately step back, and hang from the edge. Wait a second before climbing up, roll, and then hang from the
opposite ledge.
When safe, climb up, backflip to the next platform, and hang from its edge. We need to climb again and repeat
the
process for each platform, rolling, hanging from the opposite side, then climbing and jumping to the final
platform.
On the final platform, immediately hang off the edge, climb when safe, and proceed slowly into the next
room.
After picking up the mask, we run into the room on the right, and the trophy should unlock at this
point.
If you get confused while reading this, you can follow the path in my video :)
Crystals Are Forever
Collect all 93 crystals in one walkthrough
Below you'll find a list that shows how many crystals you should collect in each level. A
video guide is highly recommended for this. If you're combining this with a playthrough where you collect all
secrets, there will be a little room for error as you can collect some additional ones in All Hallows.
- Jungle - 6
- Temple Ruins - 8
- The River Ganges - 7
- Caves of Kaliya - 2
- Nevada Desert - 3
- High Security Compound - 3
- Area 51 - 4
- Coastal Village - 5
- Crash Site - 4
- Madubu Gorge - 8
- Temple of Puna - 2
- Thames Wharf - 8
- Aldwych - 9
- Lud's Gate - 11
- City - 0
- Antarctica - 4
- RX-Tech Mines - 5
- Lost City of Tinnos - 5
- Meteorite Cavern - 0
- All Hallows - 3
By Experience
Survive the room with three Tinnos mutants without taking damage and using only Lara's
pistols
You need a lot of luck if you stay on the ground level. As long as the mutants use their
range attack you'll be fine, but when they start charging towards you, you need a different solution. Luckily
you can climb up to a ledge where they can't get to. But be aware it might take a couple of tries to get up
there unharmed against the first mutant.
Codex of Antarctica
Collect all secrets in Antarctica levels
Antarctica has a total of 9 secrets for us to collect. They are distributed as
follows:
- Antarctica - 3
- RX-Tech Mines - 3
- Lost City of Tinnos - 3
Largest Assortment
Obtain all available weapons before final boss
It's recommended to visit Nevada after you finished India. After High Security Compound
you can collect all the weapons in one of the following levels:
- Shotgun - Area 51 / Thames Wharf / Aldwych / Lud's Gate
- Grenade Launcher - Area 51
- Desert Eagle - High Security Compound / Temple of Puna / RX-Tech Mines
- Uzis - Aldwaych / Antarctica
- Harpoon Gun - Area 51 / Coastal Village / Lud's Gate
- MP5 - Area 51 / Aldwaych / Antarctica
- Rocket Launcher - Madubu Gorge / Aldwaych / Lud’s Gate / Lost City of Tinnos
Level 19 - Meteorite Cavern
Meteorite Cavern is the final level of the main story. We will go to All Hallows afterwards but this is
basically the real finish. Which means we will finally earn "Incredibly Hard Boiled" here. After completing
that, we will reload the first save of this level and leave the cavern without collecting the artifacts.
In terms of collectibles, we got no more secrets or crystals to collect. There are just 7 pick-ups along the way
for all of those who want to collect all of them.
Incredibly Hard Boiled
Beat the game using only Lara's pistols
If you already completed TR1 and TR2 you know the drill. Neither the UPV harpoons nor
the turret in Crash Site void the trophy. Just stay patient and remember to reload an old save if you used any
of your other weapons to unlock some of the other trophies.
This Place Has a Busy History
Finish Antarctica chapter
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after completing Meteorite Cavern.
Get to the Choppa!
Reach helipad gates with no artifacts in your backpack
We start by equipping the Desert Eagle and shooting the enemy until he collapses, making
sure to stay in our initial spot since the ladder is right behind us. Once he’s down, immediately run and jump
onto the ladder and climb up to the ledge. The timing is tight and it may take a few tries to grab the ladder
correctly. After reaching the ledge, run to the wall and save your progress.
Continue through the stage until we reach the monkey bars but pause just before entering and
ready the MP5 for long-distance shots. From near the corner of the platform (not the edge), shoot the enemy
down, hoping to avoid taking any damage. Once he’s down, we quickly monkey bar across. By the time the enemy’s
health is back, we’re safely above the next ledge and can drop down. Save here again as this was the
toughest part.
We then proceed up the Cavern, with the spider’s orbs no longer posing a threat. Once we reach the top, the
trophy pops.
Level 20 (Bonus) - All Hallows
All Hallows is the bonus level of TR3 that follows right after Meteorite Cavern unless you didn't collect all
secrets during your playthrough. Here we will finally earn "Flying Fox" for using all ziplines of the game. Apart
from that there isn't much to take care about.
In terms of collectibles, you can get 3 crystals and 15 items. If you haven't collected 93 crystals during your
playthorugh you can earn this trophy here, if 3 are enough for you to reach 93 in total.
Flying Fox
Use all ziplines
We don't have to use all of them in the same playthrough. The second one in Jungle is
located after the final secret and is the only missable one.
- Lara's Home
- Jungle (2)
- Madubu Gorge
- Thames Wharf
- All Hallows
If the trophy doesn't pop for whatever reason, try to use the one at Laras Home again
All Hallows
Finish the bonus level
Story-related. Unlocks naturally after completing All Hallows.
New Game + & Speedrun
We can combine both of the two final trophies as a playthorugh in NG+ can be done in less than 6 hours.
I Only Play for Sport! Always!
Finish the game in less than 6 hours
Please refer to The Adventures Are Getting Harder.
The Adventures Are Getting Harder
Beat the game on New Game+
Combining both trophies can be a lot harder compared to TR2, because the number of saves
is limited and you need to collect crystals to save your game. Those crystals aren't just the only way to save
but to heal as well, because all medipacks are replaced by ammo.
The prisoners in High Security Compound will start attacking you as soon as you collect the hangar key. The
soldiers we saved during Crash Site will also try to shoot Lara on sight and even worse, the flamethrower
guards in RX-Tech Mines will stop taking care of the mutants and try to burn Lara instead.
However, don't worry too much about the time, if you feel like you have to collect more ammo here and there or
some
extra crystals go ahead and pick them up. 6 hours are plenty as you can see in my video and I lost a bit of
time in some places due to mental errors like trying to shoot a crocodile with the UPV or dropping into the
icy pool without grabbing the winch etc.
You can do this!
The Adventures of Lara Croft
Collect all trophies in Tomb Raider III
DLC Level 1 - Highland Fling
The DLC "The Lost Artifact" consists of six levels split into three areas. The first area we visit is
Scotland. In Highland Fling we can earn four different trophies and work towards two more which unlock in later
levels. One of those two is Codex of Scotland for collecting all secrets in the first two levels (3 here). The
other one
is Bloodhound for collecting a specific item in each of the six DLC levels.
In some levels it isn't clear which specific item is required, but here you have to collect a rocket. Luckily
there is only one.
Willard's Disarming
Get all available weapons in Highland Fling
Pick up the Uzis, Harpoon Gun, Shotgun and MP5. Shotgun and MP5 are part of two of the
secrets. The harpoon gun and the uzis are close to the large bridge that this level is built around. Both
require some precise jumps.
He Is Doing Swell
Honor the memory of Willard's ancestor
Shortly after picking up the MP5, we arrive at an area dotted with gravestones. After
clearing the enemies on both sides, return to the leftmost and furthest gravestone engraved with "Willard."
Standing near it, light a flare and crouch to unlock the trophy.
Heaven Express
Don't let the dog live longer than half a second
After going through the left doorway on the main bridge, we need to take care of a guard
and pull the switch on the left. Next, we return to the previous area
and enter the building on the left. Save before taking the left corner passage that leads up some steps. With
the Shotgun ready, cautiously
approach the dog statue ahead. As soon as it comes to life, shoot it. If done
quickly, the trophy will unlock immediately.
Extraordinary Form of Animal
Unravel the secret of Nessie
Unmissable, we come across the switch for this trophy to advance through the level. It's
very close to Secret 3. Just use the switch in the control room.
DLC Level 2 - Willard's Lair
Willard's Lair is the second level of the "Lost Artifact" DLC and the final level of Scotland. If we collected
all secrets in Highland Fling we can earn up to six new trophies here. To work towards Bloodhound you have
to
collect "Willard's harpoons", if you don't want to collect all items, you should at least pick up all Harpoons to
be safe.
You can find timestamps for every set of them in my video.
Underground Pool
Make all boulders roll in the dungeon
Near the start of the level, just after avoiding the first rolling boulder and picking up
the
crowbar, we proceed past the dog and two traps to reach the dungeon area. Trigger
all the boulders in there to roll. After the last boulder finishes rolling, the trophy will unlock.
Abandon Hope
Enter Willard's hideout through the spiked ceilings
This and Do Not Abandon Hope are mutually exclusive. Create a save after picking up
the first secret. Run to the right, stopping just before the spike trap, then climb up on the left side. Run
straight ahead to take cover from the spike trap. Once the trap passes, we return to the corridor and go
through the gap on the right where there’s writing on the wall. Save again here if you like.
Next, crawl diagonally left. When able to stand, turn and climb the ledge, backflip, twist mid-air, grab the
ledge, and climb it.
Holding crouch instead of pushing forward can help avoid damage.
Jump to the next ledge on the right, wait for the next spike trap to lower, then jump to the next platform.
Carefully run to the next platform on the right, drop down on the right, and carefully walk through the
spikes. Then turn to the leaves on the left and climb up. On the next level, walk carefully to the right and
climb to the floor above. Continue forward, watch
for a guard who runs out of a room to the left. The trophy unlocks as soon as we enter this room. Reload your
earlier save to continue.
Veni, Vidi, Tulit
Don't miss that medipack behind bars
This trophy is earned on the path to Do Not Abandon Hope by collecting a Large
Medipack located behind bars near the spike
trap area. After reloading the earlier save, climb up to the ledge that triggers a sideways spike trap. Pull the
switch ahead and to the right, then immediately run through the nearby gate. At the end of the passage, drop
down to find the Large Medipack.
Do Not Abandon Hope
Enter Willard's hideout through the back door
This and Abandon Hope are mutually exclusive. Create a save after picking up the
first secret. From the spot of Veni, Vidi, Tulit, backtrack to the previous area. This time, we
head straight up the steps and use the slope at the end to slide down. At the bottom, we must deal with a group
of crows. While moving left, we need to stay alert for two separate instances of falling debris.
Next, we make our way up the ledges. Advancing forward brings us into contact with a dog, which we
must defeat. On the right side, three more sets of falling debris will drop as we proceed. Once cleared, we
climb the leafy wall to the next level and continue upward into the opening. From this point onward, follow the
same route as you did for Abandon Hope until the trophy pops.
Codex of Scotland
Collect all secrets in Scotland levels
There are 6 secrets scattered across the two Scotland levels, three in each one of them.
Callanish Way Out
Get to the helicopter through the secret passageway
Near the end of the level, we should avoid heading directly toward the helicopter along
the obvious route.
Instead, we climb onto the nearby block, which allows us to see the helicopter from behind the bridge.
From there, we turn left after the stairs. This path leads us to Secret 3 of the level which leads us to the
secret passageway.
DLC Level 3 - Shakespeare Cliff
Shakespeare Cliffs is the third level of the "Lost Artifact" DLC and the first one of the "Tunnel" chapter.
Once again we can work towards two trophies to receive them in later levels. That is again Bloodhound and
similar to the Scotland chapter "Codex of Tunnel". The Codex trophy requires us to collect all 3 secrets in
this and the next level. For Bloodhound you need to collect "Shakespeare grenades", there are two sets of them so
make sure to collect them, even if you are not interested in collecting all items.
You can also earn up to three new trophies during this level.
Stephenson's Rocket
Get rocket launcher in the tunnel
We will unlock this trophy once we obtain the Rocket Launcher. Early in the level, we
slide down into a section with train tracks. Here, immediately jump across to the opposite platform to
stay safe. After the train has passed, roll and head to the right, keeping close to the left-hand wall for
protection.
Moving forward into the tunnel, we should prepare for another train to rush through. On our left is a tunnel we
can enter to find the second secret of the level as well as the rocket launcher.
Capsule Pipelines
Get on a quad bike and then get off it on top of a wrecked train in 39 seconds or less
When you take a seat on the quad, quickly drive onto the ramp that curves around to the
right. It is important to release
the accelerator slightly and steer sharply to the right once we are on the ramp. From there, we continue across
two jumps. After clearing them, turn right and immediately line up in the
opposite direction, positioning ourselves to face the ramp. This allows us to gain enough momentum for the
upcoming jump.
Once across, we head up the ramp on the right, which curves left. To successfully reach the train, we need
sufficient speed. The safest approach is to reverse toward the wall first, then accelerate forward, taking care
not to scrape along the sides of the ramp. The jump onto the train can be quite difficult. Good news though, we
don't have to drive to the top of the train, we can also drive
next to it and climb on the train
Now It's a Job for Archaeologists
Defeat four prehistoric creatures without being hurt
Near the end of the level, we enter an area filled with lava. In this section, our
objective is to eliminate four flying creatures without taking any damage.
If the fourth creature does not appear, jump across the water to the left and follow the path upward. This
action should trigger the final spawn. Once we defeat the fourth creature, the
trophy will unlock. Important: If one of them hurts you, you won't get the trophy.
DLC Level 4 - Sleeping With The Fishes
Sleeping With the Fishes is the fourth level of the "Lost Artifact" DLC and the final one of the "Tunnel"
chapter. We can get three trophies, given that we've collected all three secrets in Shakespeare Cliffs. Apart
from that we need to collect "Sleeping Uzi clips" for Bloodhound, the level contains three different sets
of Uzi
clips so
make sure to collect them, even if you are not interested in collecting all items.
Another Mystery Solved
Explore the U-740 submarine
In the large underwater section, after we have collected both Circuit Bulbs, continue
swimming until you reach two tunnel entrances.
We must avoid the tunnel with the “Restricted Area” signage for now, as this path is part of the main story and
the current will prevent us from turning back. Instead, we enter the tunnel to the right of it, then turn left.
This route leads us to a rusted submarine on the right-hand side. On top of the submarine, we have to collect
the Desert Eagle and two sets of Desert Eagle Clips
Codex of Tunnel
Collect all secrets in Tunnel levels
There are a total of 6 secrets scattered around the two Tunnel levels. Each level
contains 3 of them.
Monsters, SLInc.
Defeat four fish mutants without being hurt
In the large underwater chamber where we collect the blue and red mutant samples, there is
a hatch that we dropped through earlier, after opening the underwater doors leading to these items. From this
position, we can stay underwater by holding

and
eliminate the two mutants safely from
above. After dealing with them, we have to proceed to the secret area containing the Grenade Launcher. When
another mutant
spawns, immediately retreat toward the nearby air pocket and defeat it from that safe location.
The final mutant appears near the end of the level. It is possible to swim past it, but for safety we can
position ourselves at the top of the diving bell. By exiting the water and re-entering with the harpoon gun
equipped, we can eliminate it without risk.
DLC Level 5 - It's A Madhouse
Welcome to the first France level "It's a Madhouse!". France is the final chapter of the "Lost Artifact" DLC.
This time we can earn two trophies and once again work towards Bloodhound by collecting "Mad Eagle clips".
Those
are either in the area of secret 2 or can be found a bit later so make sure to collect both of them to be sure,
even if you are not interested in
collecting all items.
Planet of the Raids
Don't let monkeys touch any of the items
Simply the most cruel and disgusting trophy of this DLC. There are four different areas
where innocent little monkeys try to play with items and you have to stop them, before they touch these. It
basically means you have to take care of them with your Desert Eagle.
Codex of France
Collect all secrets in France levels
This time there are only 3 secrets we have to collect for this trophy. They are all part
of "It's A Madhouse".
DLC Level 6 - Reunion
Reunion is the final level of the "Lost Artifact" DLC. It's finally time to earn Bloodhound for collecting a
specific item in every DLC level. In addition to that, you'll earn two story-related trophies.
Bloodhound
Get hidden Highland rockets, Willard's harpoons, Shakespeare grenades, Sleeping Uzi
clips, Mad Eagle clips and Reunion large medipack
When we first encounter Sophia on the lower level, the collectible is located on a
platform on her side of the room. After passing the swinging brazier, we quickly need to take the right-hand
path to the
floor above. This action distracts Sophia and causes her to move away. At this point, roll around and perform a
running jump to reach the platform with the large medipack.
In Your Next Life!
Defeat Sophia Leigh
This is story-related. The trophy pops after we leave the bossfight of this DLC
victorious.
So There Was A Fifth...
Finish The Lost Artifact
This is story-related. The trophy pops after finishing all 6 levels.
